Trainer Bio

Ever since I was a kid, I was incredibly active. I grew up playing all types of sports, so fitness has always been part of my lifestyle.

Although I played many different sports, speed skating took me the farthest beyond an amateur level. I was on the Canadian National team, and I learned so much about the importance of support, proper coaching, and consistency. I use all of my athletic experience to train my clients.

I have been in the fitness industry for about 20 years, and I have been personal training for 10 years. Even though I am no longer a national-level athlete, I still keep fitness as a top priority, where physical changes are key with a focus on seeing results. These physical changes can be anything from feeling strong, having more energy, or seeing more aesthetic changes.

My mantra is “build the athlete first”. I focus on bettering one’s self and improving self-esteem through both physical and mental change. Anyone can look fit but to truly be fit and capable with longevity is the most important thing.

Throughout the years, I have helped so many people reach their goals, whether it be from losing those last ten pounds to preparing for a powerlifting competition. Getting the opportunity to share in those moments and witnessing people’s transformations is why I love the fitness industry. Over the years, I realized that I wanted to help more people than just my clients. I wanted to figure out a way to have a wider reach; to help more people.

About a year ago, I decided to take my certification to the next level and become the CanfitPro Trainer in Victoria, which gives me the opportunity to teach up and coming individuals in the fitness industry how to train their clients. I get to share my passion and experience with people who will help dozens of others reach their fitness goals. I love being able to help my clients and my students; it gives me a chance to learn and teach from different roles.

I expect to continue on as a personal trainer and keep learning how I can better help people on a daily basis. a facilisi.
